Daughter of Deep Silence by Carrie Ryan |Review

Β I ordered this book from Indigo solely on the cover. It’s super pretty. (and it was like four dollars). When I picked up this book to read it I thought it was going to be a ghost story. I can’t really remember why I thought that, I must have mixed up the description with another book. So when I go about half way through and realized there was no ghosts I was super confused. But the story is really good enough though it wasn’t what I was expecting.

There are a lot of “holy shit” moments. This book got me out of my reading slump. I couldn’t put it down. I just wanted to know why?! The things Frances goes through is crazy. She’s a strong character and very smart. I’m impressed with her spy like skills.

It’s definitely worth the read. I am so glad I bought this. It has a beautiful cover and a really good story. I would read more by Carrie Ryan, for sure.

I gave this 5/5 on Goodreads. It totally deserves it.
